5 PRIORITIES WHICH ENGAGE US IN ACTION ! To obtain results we act together and we have chosen the following priorities for action :
1. Construction of 2,500 social apartments on Blue Bonnets site
The hippodrome will move out soon. Therefore a very large land will become available. To satisfy the accommodation needs of the families of the district, we could open up streets and make the district larger. This land is large enough to add 4,000 apartments, together with services needed by the inhabitants. This is a unique chance to build 2,500 social apartments.
 2. Ensure food security
Food security is the opportunity of choosing quality nourishment, at affordable prices, practicing a control on one’s nutrients and on one’s own life. Many measures can be taken: Stores of sharing, collective kitchens, workshops, school leisure. During the following 5 years, the CDC will put in place programs directed to financing resources and alternative networks resulting in good quality food, in sufficient quantity, and accessible to everybody.
3. Obtain from Montreal’s agglomeration a fair part of financial resources for our district
Many things have changed since municipalities merged, they subsequently separated, and Montreal’s agglomeration established itself. However, the distribution of wealth among Montreal’s municipalities has not yet been fulfilled. Our district still remains under funded, undermining its capacity to satisfy their citizen’s needs. This issue should be vigorously dealt with to promptly attain a satisfactory solution.
 4. Better understand the challenges faced by our youth and
5. Guarantee a better exchange among all our district’s communities
To build a dynamic, united and lively community, we must firstly understand people’s individualities, and further create places where people can dialogue and exchange views. These two priorities demand our openness.

6. North-East ProjectEstablishing a follow-up mechanism of tenants’ complains. Supporting action for professional integration of immigrant workers. Development of alternative and free family activities. Urban planning for social integration.
